Kirby McInerney Sponsors The Anti-Fraud Coalition’s 26th Annual Conference, Affirming Commitment to Whistleblower Advocacy
WASHINGTON, DC – Kirby McInerney LLP is proud to serve as principal sponsor of Taxpayers Against Fraud/The Anti-Fraud Coalition’s 26th Annual Conference, taking place October 7–9, 2026 in Washington, DC. The firm's Co-Managing Partner, David Kovel, serves on the Board of Taxpayers Against Fraud and is its Treasurer. The firm’s sponsorship reflects our commitment to representing whistleblowers and supporting their essential role in exposing fraud, protecting public funds, and promoting accountability in the financial markets.
The Anti-Fraud Coalition is a public interest, nonprofit organization dedicated to defending and empowering whistleblowers who expose fraud on the government and the financial markets.
Kirby McInerney represents whistleblowers under the federal and state False Claims Acts and the SEC, CFTC, and IRS whistleblower programs. Drawing on more than six decades of experience in corporate integrity and financial fraud litigation, the firm guides clients through the reporting and litigation process and advocates for the awards their information makes possible. Its results include representing the whistleblower who received a nearly $200 million CFTC award and securing a $105 million settlement in a New York False Claims Act income tax case.
The firm’s commitment also extends to education and outreach. In June 2026, Kirby McInerney launched CustomsFraudWhistleblower.com, a free resource to help potential whistleblowers understand customs fraud, the False Claims Act process, reporting options, and how to evaluate counsel. Supporting The Anti-Fraud Coalition’s annual conference further advances the firm’s commitment to an informed and effective whistleblower community.
As part of the conference, Partner Randall Fox will participate in the “Government Personnel Changes” panel on October 9, from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. The discussion will examine how government resource constraints and shifting enforcement priorities affect False Claims Act cases, and how whistleblowers and their counsel can help build stronger cases and advance investigations. Mr. Fox will join Renée Brooker of Tycko & Zavareei and Augustine “Augie” Ripa of Whistleblower Law Collaborative, with Gwen Stamper of Vogel, Slade & Goldstein, LLP moderating.
Mr. Fox, named Whistleblower Lawyer of the Year for 2021 by The Anti-Fraud Coalition, previously served as the founding Bureau Chief of the New York Attorney General’s Taxpayer Protection Bureau. His participation complements the firm’s sponsorship and its ongoing work on behalf of whistleblowers.
