Published in: The National Law Journal
Kirby McInerney is proud to announce that for the second year in a row, The National Law Journal has named partner Karen Lerner one of its 2023 Elite Women of the Plaintiffs Bar, part of The National Law Journal's 2023 Elite Trial Lawyers awards.
The award recognizes 16 female partners who “have demonstrated repeated success in cutting-edge work on behalf of plaintiffs over the last 18 months" and "possess a solid track record of client wins over the past three to five years.”
Over the course of her 30-year career, Ms. Lerner has successfully litigated antitrust, commodities, and other complex class actions that have recovered billions of dollars on behalf of institutional and individual plaintiffs. She has played important roles in several landmark antitrust cases and remains one of the few women ever appointed as Interim Co-Lead Class Counsel in a Commodity Exchange Act case.
“It's an honor to again be recognized by The National Law Journal,” said Ms. Lerner. “I really appreciated winning this prestigious award in 2022 and it's humbling to again be recognized in 2023. My firm's success in complex class actions results from our team of outstanding colleagues who work together on behalf of our clients. It's wonderful to be acknowledged by the Elite Trial Lawyers awards.”
